Here are some frequently asked questions when it comes to using Möbius as a student:
The language used by the Möbius user interface (Example — buttons, menus, etc.) is determined by the preferred language of your web browser or operating system.

You may have an access code and/or redemption code that you'll use to purchase a Möbius license.
Access code — A 12-character code that usually starts with AC (Example — ACSP-2021-SU01) that's sent to you directly by your instructor or posted on your class announcements page.

Redemption code — A 16-character code (Example — 1234-ABCD-5678-EFGH) that's provided by your organization or textbook provider.

You can use the Drop Class button to unenroll from—or drop—a class that you didn't meant to enroll in.
If this button isn't available, your instructor or organization's Möbius administrator can assist you.

Check out Choose a math entry mode for understanding the differences between the two available math entry modes:
- Text Mode — Accepts symbolic or numeric expressions in a single line using your regular keyboard.
- Symbol Mode — Accepts mathematical expressions using the Equation Editor where a variety of symbols and operators can be selected from a palette.

In general, Möbius will accept equivalent responses (Example — both 1000 m and 1 km would be graded as correct).
TIP: Check out Enter physical unit equivalents for help with how to determine which physical units are accepted by Möbius.
However, there are different types of equivalent responses (Example — algebraic equivalence).
Your instructor can configure the type of equivalent responses that are accepted by a question, or for the question to not accept any equivalent responses at all.

Yes, you can save your work at any time using the Quit & Save button within your activity.
NOTE: Other activity properties should also be considered (Example — due date, time limit, proctored exam, etc.). Check out Review activity properties for reminders of activity configurations that might prevent you from being able to return to an attempt.
Contact your proctor or instructor if you feel that you have a valid reason for receiving more time on a timed lesson or assignment.
Check out Request an exception if you feel that you have a valid reason for receiving additional attempts on a lesson or assignment with a maximum number of attempts.
Your proctor or instructor are who you should contact with your exception request.
